I am asking you to back up your statements, You made them here, so I asked you to back them up here. You work for the prison system, so you don’t come with the credentials to impress me into guaranteeing you column space based on your assurance that you have some deep theory. Start here, Jim, and we’ll see.

But, thing is, Jim, when someone says something like “in my experience” and then won’t back up that experience, it isn’t much.

So, I took the time to write an op-ed chock full of facts and not fiction. Of course it went unpublished, I’m assuming because it completely contradicted everything that had been so misstated by your Mr. Lucente.

That’s Ok; it’s your paper and ink and you publish who you want; people that fall in line with your papers beliefs. So, it’s not that I can’t recall facts or list them in excruciating detail; because I can. It’s just that you won’t print them so what’s the point? Why are you people so scared to print an opposing view? That of course is why your paper is hemorrhaging so badly. And why you should get out why you can.

Ron, I get the feeling that you are desperately trying to bait me into saying something negative about you. It’s not going to work. You’re not Lucente; you’re much smarter and don’t have to resort to pitching fiction as fact to make your point. You keep hanging on to Lucente though and he’ll take you right down the toilet with him. You deserve respect which is why I give it. The fact that you don’t want to take it well, that’s your issue to hash out not mine. Bash me all you want buddy just keep it factual.

If it’s one thing I have learned in 17-years of working in the prison system it’s that one cannot communicate with everyone using the same “language”. Yes, we all may speak English on here but different forms of it. This is why I speak to you in one fashion and Lucente and DrTorch in a completely different one. There are certain people that just don’t understand anything unless you address them in the manner that they are accustomed too.

And by the way, my “daddy” is dead. He passed away a year ago, God bless his soul. Does that make you feel better Ron, to take shots at me and my dead father for your Lucente’s benefit?

You’re as free as anyone to submit something, but a column outlining your grievances against any one politician is unlikely to see print. We generally don’t do guest columns that are solely to rip apart a politician. We have Lucente for that. (Just seeing if he’s reading.) You have 16 months before he faces re-election. If you did your reasons in letters, you could probably get them all in before November 2010.

You could outline your reasons here, Jim, since this is the second time you’ve said something that I’ve questioned and that you have refused to back up. Could your daddy also beat up my daddy, Jim? That’s what your claims have begun to sound like.
